During an exhibition at Nancy Poirel Gallery, we reused the carpet designed especially for this show. It was a wonderful carpet with drawings of planets, asteroïds, light, and particles in a colorful environment.
With this wonderful material, I designed 4 pillows to recreate the posture of astronauts during lift-off. This is called the neutral body postures when your heart is pushing equally and without effort the blood through your entire body. Providing you calm and rest. To recreate this posture I made the pillow with a slice of cardboard, also reused. All part has been made with a laser cutter and assembled without glue. Then, I fold the carpet on those structural elements and I stitch it to provide a good-looking pattern, and to give this material a handmade dimension
